A wonderful week.

We stayed for 7 nights at Kempinski hotel Adriatic in May. It was a great.Hotel is nice, rooms beautiful furnished and full of light, food is delicious and staff is attentive and friendly.

Also great facilities in hotel. Big pool area and beach resort. I love the view from the hotel.During our stay we played 3 rounds of golf at the golf club Adriatic, situated yards from the hotel itself. Excellent vacation experience.

Istria, Croatia

Tone Tuscany down a notch or two – thin the tourist hordes, lower the prices, sprinkle a little mystique – and you get Istria. Shaped like a heart, this Italian-flavoured peninsula of 3600 sq km is where continental Croatia meets the Adriatic. In summer months, the sun-and-sea set storms the resort-lined coast, or so-called ‘blue Istria’.

For art, food, wine and an offbeat vibe, head to the interior, nicknamed ‘green Istria’ – a bucolic dream of rolling hills, hilltop villages, rural B&Bs and farmhouse restaurants.

What a wonderful golfing tour in Istria !

"A group of 14 Finnish golfers visited Croatia (Umag to be exact) in the beginning of April.

Have to say we were treated like Royalty all the time, the Kempinski hotel was great and the gourmet food & wines we ate all around were just superb.

Not to mention the nice people everywhere! The transportations and organisational skill and preciseness impressed us very much. Really, really great trip in every aspect - okay, the weather could`ve been warmer - and I´m pretty sure there will be more Finnsh golfers coming..."

Europe’s hot spots - Istria

The Istrian Peninsula is the best of Tuscany and Venice rolled into one languid destination. Hillsides nurture vineyards, preservation-minded towns lie just steps from the beach, and Croatians live off the same land their great-great-grandparents did. Though some towns are overhyped (see Porec and Pula), the most built-up of Istrian tourist destinations can actually be its most atmospheric -- if you time it right.

During the off-season, the crenellated town of Rovinj feels like a quiet Siena writ small, its 18th-century bell tower of the Church of St. Euphemy standing guard above the spartan cobblestoned streets below. Try the local vintages at the romantic Wine Vault restaurant, then spend the night in the region's first design hotel, The Lone, whose swooping nautical shape commands prime real estate in a deep forest beside the Adriatic.

Excellent !

On holiday from England at the Kempinski Golf Adriatic with a party of 12 golfers We found on arrival the staff were very accomadating and helpfull. The course was stunning. This course is one the best courses I have played. Fantastic club house and I will return. Golf Adria delivered an excellent trip with excellent service.

We enjoyed every day.

Hello Pino,

thank you for your efforts by organising our holiday stay in your lovely country. All the arrangements you made were well organised. We enjoyed every day.

The hospitality in hotel San Rocco, friendly staff, good kitchen as well as the location and super weather - what can you wish more-

Also the golf courses were interesting to play. Only the golf course in Trieste was a little difficult  to find, there were only very few signs on the streets to the course.

I think, that this trips was not the last trip to Croatia, we will come again! Please let us know if you have some news and offers.

We wish you all the best and a successfully season.

Golf and more

Hello Pino

Thank you very much for a well organized golf holiday for us.

We enjoyed every moment in every place, especially because we never been there before. Adriatic Golf Club was exellent and got a perfect service.

Palazzo was very close to a dream come through and this certainly is not our last visit. Brijuni island was a place which make us proud to been there.

Next time I'll ask you to organize accommodation, but we will change transportation to Venice. We have seen that there are hydrofoils conections between Porec and Venice and we will use one of them, or hire a car in Venice then drive to Porec.

Once more thank you very much

Wine and truffles experience is fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed the personal touch that Pino provided on this wine tour.

We got to meet two wine producers, got a personal tour by the owner and/or managers, and really got to appreciate their local perspective on their craft of wine making.

The meal based on truffles we enjoyed at the restaurant Morgan was fantastic – the best steak ever ( filet steak with truffle sauce ).

We appreciated seeing the Istrian countryside ( referred locally as “ The Istrian Tuscany”) this is the right trip for those who love to combine the love of golf and food and wine.

Wine cellars were definitely the highlight.

I recently spent a long weekend in Istria on a golf and wine experience, The wine cellars were definitely the highlight!

Pino picked us up at 5 p.m after a round of golf at the golf club Adriatic and took us to a wine tour where we had the opportunity to visit a winery, learn a little bit about wine production and taste 4 or 5 different wines.

After the wine tour, we had dinner at the restaurant Morgan. Food was great and we have had a chance for the first time in our lives to try his majesty the truffles, a wonderful experience!

Pino was very nice to us and made this experience one of the best we’ve ever had! I highly recommend!

Playing golf in different countries is very appealing to us.

We're always tempted to get a little more from our golf holidays besides golfing, we found the offer from Golf Adria to play golf in different countries appealing. The whole idea will be even more attractive to golfers when in July next year Croatia joins the European Union.

We stayed for a week at the hotel Kempinski Adriatic, a great 5 star hotel and with its own 18 hole golf course it makes it ideal for your golf holidays.

We enjoyed a round of golf at the golf course in Trieste and were very tempted to go into town for shopping as Pino suggested after the game but were afraid it could be a little busy and we were also a little tired.

Great hotel experience.

This was a truly great hotel experience at the Kempinski hotel Adriatic.

Excellent location for those who seek calm and peaceful environment, beautiful surroundings and stunning views across the bay of the Slovenian and Italian coast.

The hotel itself was impeccable, very clean and nicely organized rooms, great food and a lovely pool area and beach...

San Rocco has really that effect on you.

We spend a week in the Boutique hotel San Rocco on our golfing holiday in Istria.

Shortly after our arrival at San Rocco Pino called us to check if everything was all right and we told him, that we have been here for just over an hour, already sitting by the pool with drinks in our hands, and already feeling like home. That hotel has really that effect on you.

With its unique approach they really make you feel special. As we consider ourselves maybe a little bit more adventurous we went for Pino’s advise and drove for a game of golf to the neighboring golf courses in Italy and Slovenia.

We specially enjoyed golf course Grado even though it was an over an hour drive from our hotel.
