We know golf does not end any more with the last hole on green, but with a good glass of wine and miraculous meal in great company. This was the real foundation of golf & gourmet at the San Rocco heritage hotel & Gourmet restaurant, awarded best small hotels in Croatia for 5 years.

This is a place where you can taste traditional Istrian dishes, delicacies from a wood fired oven, excellent dishes based on "His Majesty the Truffle" and all complimented by finest local wines i.e. Teran.

The white Istrian truffle is one of the most highly appraised truffle species in the world. For decades, it has been smuggled out of our country in order to enrich the taste of various European cuisines where its origins have constantly been kept in concealment.

Accommodation at the Boutique hotel San Rocco, situated on a hill, in the typically Istrian village of Brtonigla from where the sea and the nearby 18-hole golf course Adriatic can be reached in just a short drive.(20 minutes). Golfers can also show off their golf style at the nearby 18-hole golf course Trieste, Padriaciano, Trieste, (approx. 35 minutes drive). We will arrange pre-booked tee times and return transfer to the golf course.
